AZA was found in 2005 by the group of Zoroastrians refugees in Phoenix, Arizona. Their first mission was to gather and share their experience and helping each other, As the time goes and they stablish themselves and more newly members join the group they decided to help the other refugees. based on the report from Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program 60000 refugees came to Arizona and we proudly helped more than 5000 of Refugees and immigrants.
AZA provides opportunities for refugees, asylees and other immigrants to thrive in America. Each year, thousands of people, forced to flee violence and persecution, are welcomed by the people of the United States into the safety and freedom of America. These individuals have survived against incredible odds. AZA works with donors, civil society actors, and local volunteers to help them translate their past experiences into assets that are valuable to their new communities. In Phoenix and other cities in Arizona , AZA helps them to rebuild their lives.
